Obasanjo in every administration starting from Shehu Shagari. On the
issue of failure to keep to the promise of a single term, Obasanjo has
not led by example. He promised Nigerians, according to his deputy,
Atiku Abubakar, to serve one term but reneged and served two terms and
was gunning for a third before he was stopped. His Minister of
Justice, Bola Ige, was murdered without anyone brought to book, till
date. I am not a politician but as an observer of events since his
first coming, I can tell fellow Nigerians that Obasanjo has no lessons
to teach President Jonathan. Any advice he has for Jonathan must
remain strictly private for the good of the country.
