Ogun police prepares men for Yuletide

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, says the
command will not condone any ugly incident in the state during the
Yuletide.
Okoye said policemen in the state could avoid ugly incidents if
officers and men kept on their toes and work hard to ensure the
security of lives and property, a statement by the command's
spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, said.
The commissioner spoke on Thursday while addressing officers,
including area commanders and divisional police officers at the
November Mess Gathering held at the Police Officers' Mess, Ibara, GRA,
Abeokuta Ogun State.
Okoye, said "Shun incivility to the public, reject corrupt practices
and other unethical conducts."
The police boss ordered the officers to display their telephone
numbers and distress call numbers at the main entrances, charge rooms,
investigation rooms and strategic places at their formations for
transparency and accountability.
"The Director, Code of Conduct Bureau, Ogun State, Mr. Oluwasegun
Rabiu, also lectured the officers on patriotism," the statement added.
