PDP Governors Strategizing In Abuja Over 2015

Some Governors of Peoples Democratic Party today met at the Akwa Ibom
State Governor's Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, to review the strength of
the party ahead of the 2015 elections. This follows the defection of
some rebel governors to the All Progressives Congress, with more
governors reportedly planning to follow suit.
Those in attendance are the governors of Abia, Ebonyi, Kogi, Kebbi,
Bauchi, Enugu, Katsina, Cross River, Plateau, Delta, Taraba and Akwa
Ibom. It was gathered that they will brief President Goodluck
Jonathan immediately after the meeting.
The G2 Governors, Aliyu Babangida of Niger State and Sule Lamido of
Jigawa State, are currently in a closed-door meeting with President
Goodluck Jonathan at the presidential villa.
The outcome of the meeting of the 12 PDP Governor remains sketchy as
no one was ready to talk to the press. All the governors headed to
the villa.
