APC Seeks Update on N250 million Allegedly Found on Gov Obi

The battle of wits trailing the forthcoming Anambra governorship
election heightened Tuesday as the All Progressives Congress (APC)
asked the Inspector General of Police (IG), Mohamamed Abubakar to make
public, the police report on the N250 million allegedly found in
Governor Peter Obi's convoy.
Although the police was yet to conclude investigation into the money
laundering case, the Anambra State House of Assembly in what looked
like a cover-up, passed a resolution, exonerating Governor Obi of All
Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) from the money haulage.
But, in a statement on Tuesday in Enugu, APC Zonal Publicity Secretary
for the South-East, Osita Okechukwu, said the IG should publish the
police report without further delay.
