Breaking News: President Jonathan sacks Nine ministers

President Goodluck Jonathan Wednesday sacked nine ministers
in his cabinet, the first major shake-up since he appointed the
cabinet shortly after he was sworn in president in May 2011. Those
affected includes:
The Minister for National Planning - Shamsudeen Usman
Minister of State for Defence - Erelu Olusola Obada
Minister of State for Power - Zainab Kunchi
Minister of Foreign Affairs - Olugbenga Ashiru
Minister of Education - Prof. Ruqayat Rufai
Minister of Environment - Hadiza Ibrahim Mailafia
Minister of State for Agriculture - Buka Jinani
Minister of Land, Housing and Urban Development - Ama Pepple
Minister of Science and Technology - Ita Okon
Though the cause of the shake-up could not be ascertained as at the time of
filling this report.
